A Christmas Miracle

My story, the title of which is above, was recently featured in the Christmas issue of the nationally circulated "St. Anthony Messenger" magazine. It is a true story about a miracle that took place in my home on Christmas Eve in 1969.

Often times when one reads or hears about a miracle, it is one that occurred during a long period of suffering -- like a cure for cancer or some other debilitating or deadly illness. My situation showed me that a miracle isn't always long term and that one can occur "instantaneously." My miracle helped members of our family through the saddest and toughest time of our lives.
